A Wedding Weekend in the Mountains

Haley + Noah’s wedding weekend was the perfect blend of elegant celebration and deeply personal moments, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Evergreen, Colorado. Hosted at Haley’s family property, Singing River Ranch, the venue’s sweeping mountain views wrapped around the celebration, giving guests the sense of being in their own private valley.

The festivities began Friday evening with a Western-themed welcome party at Evergreen Lakehouse — the perfect way to greet out-of-town guests with Colorado charm. The celebration continued with an intimate rehearsal dinner at Willow Creek Restaurant, where a centerpiece of live fish swimming in glass bowls paid homage to the groom’s parents’ own rehearsal dinner decades before.

High School Sweethearts, Years in the Making

Haley and Noah’s love story began back in high school. They grew up in the same community and became best friends during their freshman year. Noah says he fell in love with Haley almost instantly, but played “the long game” before making his move. Years later, their wedding weekend was filled with friends and family who have been rooting for them since the very beginning.

The Wedding Day

The morning was filled with music, laughter, and champagne toasts as Haley got ready with her bridesmaids at a nearby estate. Her satin gown — complete with a jaw-dropping low back — turned heads and drew audible gasps the moment she stepped into it. Noah prepared for the day surrounded by lifelong friends, exchanging a heartfelt letter with Haley before seeing her for the first time.

Their first look and private vow exchange took place along the stream under tall pine trees — a nod to Noah’s love for fly fishing. These private promises, shared away from the crowd, set the tone for a day rooted in connection.

An Elegant Tented Celebration

Guests arrived to glasses of champagne adorned with edible flowers before finding their seats for the ceremony. Haley’s entrance, arriving by horse and carriage alongside her parents, was nothing short of magical. Her father, who also officiated the ceremony, delivered a service filled with warmth, humor, and joy.

One of the most moving moments came when the bride and groom honored the memory of Haley’s late sister. During a reading by the bride’s mother, a glass box was opened, releasing butterflies into the summer air — delicate symbols of love and remembrance that lingered nearby for the rest of the day.

As the heat of the afternoon eased, guests moved into the reception tent, where Brittany from Cloud 9 Weddings & Events had created an atmosphere of understated elegance. Long tables were set with charcuterie boards, rustic greenery, and romantic summer textures.

The reception was filled with music and emotion — from Haley + Noah’s perfectly choreographed first dance to the tear-filled mother-son dance to Humble and Kind. The bride’s playful father-daughter dance to My Girl brought everyone to their feet. And with a live band keeping the energy high, the dance floor never stopped.

A Weekend to Remember

Every moment of Haley + Noah’s wedding weekend felt intentional — a reflection of who they are, where they come from, and the people who’ve shaped their journey. From the welcome party to the last song, it was a joy to capture it all as their Evergreen wedding photographer and videographer.

MY CONNECTION TO THE VENUE

Singing River Ranch will always hold a special place in my heart. Long before I was photographing weddings, I came here every year in high school with my show choir for our retreat — learning all the music and choreography for our big “Broadway show.” Those weekends were filled with late-night chats, inside jokes, a few harmless pranks, and the kind of foundational moments that shaped my love for the arts. It’s where I fell in love with storytelling through movement, which eventually led to my career as a choreographer and, later, a wedding photographer. Walking back onto the property for Haley + Noah’s wedding felt like coming home — only this time, I was capturing a love story in a place that helped shape my own.
